Mark McKillip is a master puppet artist/storyteller/arts educator who was twice past President of The Puppetry Guild of Greater New York. Mr. McKillip has been staff director for The Little People’s Theatre (NY), and has performed puppetry with
- The Union Square Theatre (NY),
- Nassau County Puppet Theatre (NY),
- Hudson Vagabond Puppets (NY),
- Gramercy Puppet Theatre(NY),
- Marquis Studios(NY),
- Milwaukee Public Theatre(WI),
- Mask and Puppet Theatre(WI), and
- Theatre X(WI).
He has twice performed at The International Puppet Festival in Mexico City and in 1985 appeared at The Northeast Regional Puppet Festival. He has also appeared at
- Summerfest,
- Milwaukee Irishfest,
- Germanfest,
- West Allis Western Days,
- Celebrate Americafest, and
- Art Fair on the Square
… among others.
Mark has designed, constructed, and performed puppetry regularly on Cox Cable’s “This One’s For Kids” and Time Warner Cable’s “Patty’s Place” as well as creating life-size puppets for Leffert’s Homestead (NY), Staten Island Park and Recreation (NY), and First Stage Milwaukee’s “Einstein: Hero of the Mind.” He is presently developing an
educational DVD series called Patty’s Place Learning Connectionz available soon at Blockbusters.
Mr. McKillip has taught puppetry at numerous institutions including

- University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee,
- Carroll College, and
- The Metropolitan Museum of Art.
